It was a gathering of who is who in the Nigerian media as notable film maker, Kunle Afolayan hosted guests to a private media screening of his latest movie, Mokalik.

MOKALIK is an ambitious film project that tells a story which is unique and relevant to our society. It beautifully highlights diversity while distinctively addressing the issues around choice,” the award-winning movie director told guests who attended the screening”, Kunle Afolayan said.

This was why I chose to situate life’s happenstances in a typical Nigerian mechanic workshop,

the filmmaker said

“Mokalik” features singer Simi, and BBN ex-housemate, Tobi Bakre.

The movie also features prominent actors like Femi Adebayo, Charles Okocha, Faithia Williams and Lateef Oladimeji.

Afolayan is the son of late movie producer, Adeyemi Afolayan popularly known as Ade Love. He has several films. He is also the founder of a clothing line.
