Wizkid And UBA, Set To Launch African's First Music Streaming Platform

Starboy Record boss and Sony Music act, Wizkid has revealed that he and United Bank Of Africa(UBA) is teaming up to launch the first music streaming app in Africa.

The “Joro” crooner made this known in an interview with Capital XTRA, where he talked a bit about how he started and how he intend to give back to where he is from. In the interview, Wizkid gave credits to 2Baba and D’Banj for paving the way for young artistes to shine to their full potentials.

According to him, he said, there is nothing him or anyone is doing now that is new, he said these two legends already pave the way for them all.

Wizkid also reveals, him and his team will also run a 20 African countries talents hunt, where they will have to tour all of the 20 countries and more. He also talk his relationship with Nigerian-UK born rapper, Skepta, as they are set to drop a new single, according to him they both always make serious music together and that is what is going to be this time.

He advised everyone coming to Nigeria for the first time to try pay a visit to the historical, Fela Shrine(The New African Shrine), he said go there and watch Femi Kuti perform live. He also advised, you visit his hood, where he grew up Ojuelegba, Surelere and if you want to stay up all night visit Quilox Night Club, which according to him, is his favorite club in Lagos.
